HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NEEDED TO TRANSFORM MY SPACE?

No one project is the same. During your intake consultation, we will provide an estimated number of hours necessary to arrange your selected space.

WHY DO MOST PROJECTS INCLUDE TWO LEAD ORGANIZERS?

In the organizing world, less is more BUT not when it comes to getting the organizing job done. Your Place Organized's partners Lana and Lindsay work as a team on most projects. Having a duo of qualified organizers on each project aligns with our company's mission to saving you (and us) time resulting in the most efficient and cost-effective approach to getting your place organized.

WHAT IS DECORGANIZING? 

Decorganizing is a cross between interior design meets home organization.  We have a passion for finding home accessories and decor pieces that provide organization while being aesthetically pleasing. This is ideal for someone who is trying to decorate a built in bookcase or an entry table. The process includes: purchasing decor items and assisting with install/placement in your home. Still not sure what I mean? Check out my project gallery for examples! 

YOU DO STAGING. DOES THIS INCLUDE FURNITURE? 

Staging services do not include large furniture but here’s a little secret. Staging of a space has more to do with editing down what you already have and working with what you have on hand. We do have decor pieces in my “library” to add to the space as needed. My goal for staging is to create a space that a future buyer can picture themselves living and showcasing the potential of a space through the art of organization and get your space off the market FAST (and for the price you wanted!)

DO I HAVE TO BUY ORGANIZATIONAL PRODUCTS/BINS/BASKETS? WHO GOES SHOPPING? 

Purchasing of product to organize a space can make a HUGE impact, but not always required for a space. All product selection/budget will be discussed during your consultation and the initial planning phase of each product. Shopping and returns will be completed by the Your Place Organized team.  

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE ITEMS I HAVE DECIDED TO PURGE? 

As a team, we have sorted your place and you now have items you have selected to purge. Our goal is to help you finish getting those items out so they don’t sneak back into your space. Services include saving you time by donating or assisting in listing items for sale on places such as Facebook marketplace or a local consignment shop.

DO YOU OFFER GIFTED SERVICES? 

Yes, we are more than happy to work with clients who are gifted our services! Your Place Organized makes a great baby shower gift to help prepare a nursery or a house warming gift to help get settled into a new space in no time.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT YOUR SHOPPING SERVICE FOR ORGANIZATIONAL PRODUCTS AND STORAGE. DO YOU JUST SHOP FOR ME? 

This service is a little less hands on and more assisting in preparing to get your place organized and win back time. I will assess your space, discuss your goals and give you suggestions and ideas on what you need for your space. You shop with a personalized shopping list and then self organize with my 5 step process. Note: Product shopping can be completed by me independently for full service organizational projects as part of your session packages. 

DO I NEED TO BE THERE FOR THE ORGANIZING?  

This decision is project dependent and can be discussed during your consultation. Sometimes clients only need to be present for the purging part of the process and then our team will take it from there! The most important thing is to implement a system that works for you long term to save you time.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT YOUR HOLIDAY ORGANIZATIONAL SERVICES. WHAT IS INVOLVED?  

Holidays can be a stressful time! Your Place Organized offers assisting with indoor decorating for the holidays and take down allowing you the time to kick up your feet and enjoy some egg nog! Note: This service does not include outdoor Christmas lighting. I’ll leave that to the professionals!

I AM READY TO MOVE FORWARD! WHAT’S THE PROCESS? 

You have completed your consultation and ready to get back your valuable time by getting Your Place Organized!  We will give you a blueprint for the project. An invoice will be provided prior to the start of the project. After completing your deposit, your date will be booked! 

WHAT METHOD OF PAYMENT DOES YOUR PLACE ORGANIZED ACCEPT?

Accepted payments include: Venmo (Debit or Credit), cash or check.
